LS Installation not allowing WMP to work Thread last updated on 2004-02-23 18:53:30

I installed LightStep on Win XP Pro and it works just fine except that the Windows Media Player won't play. None of my MP3s will play. No matter what button I click on, none of the WMP functionality works. It won't even bring WMP up.

I've tried the default LS desktop and three other themes and I have the same problem.

Any ideas???

If you're talking about the amp controls, they're usually winamp-specific. dynamp might support wmp though.

I guess what I'm saying is that none of the Media Player controls (Playlist, Open, Play, etc.) work. I can't get WMP to work at all. When I go back to the Windows shell, it works fine.

do you mean the MP controls in MP itself, or the controls included in the theme?

The controls included in the theme. Any theme.
