Just upgraded from xlabel-2.2.1 to 2.7.5 and everything's great except all my old labels now have bevels - anyone know why they're there and how to kill them?

Well,
if you have former set
(label-name)transparent
now set
(label-name)transparencymode fake
That solve the problem (or provide an (label-name)Image)

not working here

before (with 2.6) i could have an always on top xlabel showing only the text (magicpink bg), but now it's seems to work as label did, showing the desktop where there should be nothing.
