ive looked around but havent really found exactly what i wanted. i want the taskbar to act just like standard windows auto hide taskbar..when the mouse isnt down there..it goes away..when the mouse returns..it pops up..is this possible? i do not want to set a timer..or disable/enable it each time. thank you

bump again :)
HaloLS is a nice theme, but the taskbar is huge, which wouldn't be a problem if it would hide itself.

Put a transparent xlabel in the space you'd like to use to activate the hiding of the taskbar, then configure the onEnter action to show the taskbar. You can then set up an onLeave action to hide it as well, although you have to worry about what's "on top" and which label sees the onEnter/Onleave event. Surely someone has already done this in a theme?

I actually tried something similar a while back (I wanted to duplicate the functionality of an autohiding GeoBar, more or less), but I think there was some fundamental problem with it. Can't remember what it was right now though.

Here this theme does it...
Just use the theme popup and place the theme in autohide mode.

Cheers!
