I installed litestep and restarted and now only my theme picture which is the Viper car comes up and it says illegal operation and I can't access anything on my computer now, I need your help ASAP. I can't get back to the default or the windows. I have no access!

ctrl alt f1. From there you can recycle or quit litestep. Also you can go to task manager and open things you need to either uninstall litestep or revert to the default theme.

cntl-alt-delete, file->new task. Type in Explorer. Now you have a window you can navigate.

I'm having the same problem. "Quitting" LiteStep from the ctrl+alt+f1 menu only makes it worse. Nothing happens and win+r doesn't work anymore.

And what does that recycle mean? Same thing, nothing happens.

What causes this? Is it bad themes? How do I know wether a theme is "good" or "bad"? :) Someone said something about "OTSes".

Ok so if my theme is "bad", how do I change it (to austerity/default)? I can access DOS and change some string if I have to. Running Win98.

I hope I find the answer today (will definitely continue using this LiteStep thingie).

Hey, I found a solution!

There is a very friendly shortcut in the LiteStep folder called "Switch to default theme".

Remember, I'm very new to LS.
