Just a thread that will hopefully be stacked with posts...
Simlpe question.
What is your current favorite/most used theme for LS?
Mine: Grayscale by mojomonkee
i'm on my own theme(s), it's just the only one that really fits my needs.
i've ever only used other themes to see how things are done (code, logic stuff, etc.) and what they look and feel like.
Heavily modded "austerity". else my own.
SilverFleep, it's cool. Using a different wallpaper, need to figure out how to put the fleep wallpaper up.
a modded/updated non|step. I'm adding colors!
hey someone is using a theme i made, that's cool.
i'm using this theme atm:

it's just a small GUIpod theme i made for my setup... looks sleek i think.
how did you get your aim to be that way?...very neat
glaze 1.3 after trying on some 10-15 themes.
veeeery happy with it (except a wallpaper problem, but that's another thread).. tasteful choice of colours is not the least quality of this theme..
Just for the record, I first discovered Litestep about 13 hours ago.. can't even remember where I came across the name. Substract the time required to go to the movies and have dinner from the 13 hours and you'll have the time I spent with Litestep. It's so incredibly cool! Where have you been all my life?!? :) Finally I'm not ashamed to run xp on my desktop anymore.. ;)
Oh and one more thing... is it me or my box just got a 20% speed boost over explorer.exe? It feels faster now..
Probably cause it uses half as much memory. At least on my machine.
Oh, and I'm using "Thin" by teschio right now.
I've been using LS for about a week and have tried several themes but i keep coming back to glaze. For me, it's simple and doesn't use a lot of screen realestate. For me an ideal theme has a !thin! taskbar across the bottm of the screen and a !thin! qucklaunch bar across the top with the time/date/temp and maybe a few other notifications on the right side of the quicklaunch bar. Glaze comes the closest to this although the bars are switched. It doesn't have the quicklaunches on the bar but I just linked the quicklaunch button to my quicklaunch folder, which isn't bad and keeps a cleaner look. I wish MusicMatch was integrated like winamp is and I am now working on configuring the theme to work the way I want with my dual monitors.
tried out like 15 themes...
but still UniverseMetal is still the one
with Xhenit and Transylvania on 2nd and 3rd place...
gonna try soon to make my own theme...
Just started useing LS about a week ago. After figuring out IconDesk, i'm loving it.
Oh, using Glaze 1.3 with a diff wallpaper. Mad props to the designers of LS/Glaze.
A slightly modified version of _underscore_ on my works system and non|step on my home system. I use StyleXP to load different window border themes.
I use Freedom that i modded and added a bunch of stuff to.
I have about 20 themes installed atm ...however none of them will last long - except Sputnik. That theme is just *** eye candy, and that a matching Windowblinds skin is available is a must for me when selecting a theme - but most of all, Sputnik is very productive and effective.
My second favorite is UniverseMetal, but I really miss a
matching Windowblinds skin for it ;/
Other one I would probably use is Garam Masala if just a matching Windowblinds skin excisted.
Mac OSX w/ Window Blinds OSXP theme
im using the KDE theme just cuz im to stoopid to mod one and to install linux. lol
now i use a heavily modded 2kpro by [godzillamk]... have added a bunch of stuff in it... rocks...
My own minimalist theme, based on Fallout's Pipboy 2000.
work: a modified RoachAlley theme (see my thread in the 'Themes' forum, down on page one currently, for how and why i modified it and am still trying to modify it)
home: compuglobalhypermeganet :)
good 'ol BeOs by GodZillla MK
Mikado. Has a couple problems (non-autosizing systray, for one), but I'm gonna give it a little makeover when I get a chance. :P
Good ol' Austerity for me at the moment.
HAL 9000 1.0 minimal. Confuses the hell out of everyone that sees it- I love that. Before that, I used itqe.
