there wouldnt happen to be a zip file with every module ever made in it?

i dont have the internet on my home computer and this having to go to a friends house, download a new module, and burn it to a cd every time i want to try a new theme is really pissing me off.

so if anyone has every single module and they want to zip it, please tell me.

next time you go to your friends log onto http://www.shellfront.org/modules-list.php and down load the lot :)
problems you'll find are modules are always being update , and most themes are now OTS2 which downloads modules on the fly
....good luck

i don't recommand doing that as i would totally piss rootrider off. he's been bandwidth raped before. ask him first he will probably say yes.

actually he will probably say no. that module collection is like 3G. Your best bet is to go into the theme.rc for the theme and just download all of the modules required under NetLoadModule.

I agree. you're downloading the theme anyways, just download the modules while you're at it.

are you people retarted? download a theme and then unplug your internet and see how much fun it is. whatever.

Are you retarted!? Deuce gave a perfectly valid suggestion. It humours me to think that you download a theme and don't think to download the modules it needs at the same time :)

This is a tool that will automate this process. I don't have a link handy... was it Seg@ that made that?

Or you could get your friend to install litestep, install the theme there, and copy that module archive.
