I like litestep and everything but i dont like the fact that i can't get the desktop icons to show up. Which themes allows the desktop icons to remain ?

You could always add IconDesk to the themes that don't have it already.

Just look...some of us have found that we don't use the desktop that much when it is not there (in particular, I do a lot better with file organization when I don't have it, so will likely never use a desktop folder module).
But look at the screenshots. Many themes have it.
