Hi,
I am new to litestep and started fiddling around a bit.
I installed latest version of LS 3.02 and now my zonealarm does not show up in taskbar (botom/ right) and neither if I use Ctrl + Alt+ Del to show processes running. So it seems disabled?
I did not have this problem using LS 2.6 (I downloaded it from Zdnet (http://www.zdnet.nl/dossier.cfm?eid=29970). It showed then in taskabr and was working.

When I try to use a differen theme, the modules dont load (blocked by the 'invisible' zonalarm?).
I use Win98SE and latest version of Zonealarm.
Thanks for any ideas & help

Well first off...as a new user you are confusing some things. LiteStep is only at version .24.7, but omar's installer is at 3.02. Between the two versions there was a slight jump in things that could cause issues.

So...first off if ZoneAlarm does not appear in your task list it is not running. This could be because it is started at some strange registry key that LS doesn't use at startup. To see if this is the case try running it by hand and seeing if it starts. If it does start put a link to it in your startup folder and things should be ok.

In the recent past it was discovered that the newest version of ZoneAlarm, if put to one of the higher protection settings, would block LS from downloading the necessary modules for a theme. To fix the issue step down the sensativity of ZoneAlarm and you should be ok.

I'm using ZonaAlarm Pro, latest version, along with the same same LS version as you. I'm having no probelms at all, loads at startup, and doesn't stop modules from being downloaded. I'm using default ZA config BTW
