systray2kad.dll problems Thread last updated on 2004-01-31 14:48:09

I have the theme "Thin" and did some minor modifications to it to meet my needs. But now, when I restart my computer, an error comes up saying something was wrong with systray2kad.dll and could't start litestep or something.

I ctrl+alt+del and try to start litestep.exe but the same error comes up. Now, if I start winamp.exe BEFORE starting litestep.exe, everything works fine.

Please help me, i tried using systray2.dll instead of systray2kad.dll but the systray doesn't expand to show all the stuff. I tried changing the .rc files to try and make it work but just can't get it to work. Help me PLEASE!

you can use systray, you'll just need to do:
SysTrayOnAdd !Execute [!TaskbarShrink 20 0][!Systray "$SystrayCurrentWidth$"+20]
SysTrayOnDel !Execute [!TaskbarGrow 20 0][!Systray "$SystrayCurrentWidth$"-20]
Modify as needed, of course. And if you don't need the taskbar to shrink/grow as needed, just take out that part.

oy, Thanks. That !Execute in front makes a big difference. now gotta fix a new, very small problem that has come up.

Thanx deuce!

np. however, looking back on what I typed, I'm a dumba$$. that may or mat not work with systray (I don't even know why I typed systray). try it with vtray-1.06

hehe, yea. it didn't work with the !systray, but i figured it out right away after the errors came up with $systraycurrentwidth$.

Again, thanks for helping out.

systray2kad is outdated. all of its functions were merged into systray2.
