Systray Icons not showing? Thread last updated on 2004-01-28 00:26:03

I'm sure this question has been asked a billion times, btu I can't seem to find an answer to it.

For some reason with LiteStep, only a few programs will show up in the systray...

there are about 3 icons missing.. why is that so?

Not all themes have system trays that resize with the number of icons. Maybe yours is full?

Otherwise, what are the three icons you are missing?

I have the same problem. Sometimes the icons showup and sometimes they don't. I wasn't able to find an answer to the problem either.

DrWorm: I know about that, and have set the max icons to 20, and it has no effect...

When I rebooted 2 of the icons came back, but now PGPTray.exe is missing.

Have you ever installed DesktopX/Object Desktop?

I've installed their icon changing software, forgot its name.. but it has been uninstalled for awhile now. and there is no TrayServer or anything

Some thing just dont show up at all. Like AVG will show up at startup but after a while it just disappears.

Microsoft Mouse Icon doesn't come up either
