hey, I'm new to litestep and I'm trying out a bunch of different themes.. I get the same problem with every one of them, they won't scale the windows right (maximize) there is always about an inch gap at the top and they all have the windows xp luna style applied to them... I figured it might just be one theme but every one of them that I've tried do this!! any help would be greatly appreciated!

to try and fix the window resizing problem I removed litestep from my computer thinking I would reinstall... turns out it messed up the window sizing in explorer as well! it occured after installing one of the Blackbox type themes I believe. but I can't remember which one. anyways... just a heads up.

litestep is not a skinning program therefore it won't change your xp luna theme.
if you're using an OTS theme (I asume you are) you must be sure that you haven't set the desktop area in your personal.rc or any of the included files. Look for jDeskWorkArea "X1,Y1,X2,Y2" or
SetDesktopArea
SDALeft X1
SDARight X2
SDATop Y1
SDABottom Y2

how come the windows would still be messed up after I've removed litestep then? that's what confuses me.. also, is it supposed to apply the theme to the windows too? it didn't do that for me.. I still had the blue luna title bars.

litestep won't change anything on your windows like Windows Blinds would do. LiteStep is simply a shell replacement replacing startmenu, desktop, taskbar, systray and quick launch
