Sorry to ask for this, But i am unable to search (due to updates?) And i've spent enough time searching post by post :P
I'm looking for a theme that would possibly include a hex editor in a small window, Or a sample code that would give me a small window that i could somehow run a minimized program in or something.. I'd almost prefer the code - As i'd like too include a TCP/IP packet display too.. Maybe give me little buttons above it too switch between the too, and an open file or something for the hex...

Any help is appreciated, I'll continue to search if i find out it's possible - I've seen the mini-window in a taskbar before.. And i think it would be fairly easy too implement something like what i mentioned.. Soo heres to hoping, Thanks for help everyone.

ok what do you mean by taskbar: where the tasks are or the total bar systray other icons etc etc. because the taskbar(in LS) only displays tasks not systray, nothing. so if you are about a bar ( which is what i'm leaning to) it might be possible to what you want with the help of various modules or a good coder or two. if you have proggies that do what you already it should be to hard (and can code).

Sort of a bar, Maybe in a box in bottom right or something.. I saw a good one the other day, I'm really tired right now just finished updating forums, and server.. Going too bed, When i wake up i'll post something intelligent.

The window used in the bottom left there, In this case it's used too zoom in, But if it was able to display small contents of files making it a little wider or something.
This is possible?

what you have there is a module called xprop its a zoomer/color select mod.

You might want to try Oborzevatel ( http://www.loose-screws.com/comment.php?type=mod&id=361 )its puts a web browser in/on your desktop and can display anything IE can the way i understand it.

dude if you do end up modding one of those modules to include a hex editor or packet sniffer please oh PLEASE post it! :)

Will do.. That's my goal i think. If anyone has anything extra they'd like too add, I'm new too this - any help is appreciated.
