MiniExplorer inside a lsbox ? Thread last updated on 2004-01-23 18:11:27

Hi!
In my theme i have a mini explorer for easy access to desktop, mydocs and others dirs using deskfolders (much like the one found in the longhorn theme), this "mini explorer" and other elements (Amp,Vwm,Rainmeter...) simulates a sidebar that will show/hide. Now i want to put each of these elements inside a lsbox. The problem is: I found out that the deskfolder module doesn't work with lsboxs (someone please tell i'm wrong!), i wanted to know if there is a workaround for this problem or another module that fits my criteria? I would appreciate any suggestions?

Best Regards

hmmm... that is an interesting idea. deskfolders hasnt been developed for at least 2 years, and the source code for it is lost, but i would send an email to sci, the developer of icondesk, to see if he could implement a box hook for that.

Thanks doy, any help is welcome! :)
I would prefer a faster solution since my actual theme development depends on this :(

Who says this solution is slow? ;) I don't think you'll have any luck with deskfolders though, by today's standards its old and buggy.

May you're right ilmcuts. I believe i will have to wait till icondesk appears with a !hook command or any similar module for the task :(
It's bad because i was enjoying doing this, have to stop now.

You'll wait a long time if you don't suggest it to the author though.

and what he means by that is: go email the guy who develops icondesk.

I already sent him a mail requesting this feature.
