http://www.residualvisuals.com

in the tutorials section i have uploaded 14 different tutorials on how to do different things in litestep. they're not extremely advanced techniques, but i think they will help out newbies a good deal. (my themes are also updated on the site to OTS2).

Great Job! I guess they finally talked you into accepting OTS2!

well i wanted to keep posting themes for people to use (i love the ego stroking and the "what the hell this doesn't work") so i decided to move on to OTS2. only took me about ten minutes to figure out the new format once i looked at austerity and read the docs on SF.

will this help an idiot such as myself?
(main problems i'm having are "could not load module" and "exception while closing the module")
maybe there's some other thread for these problems
i'd just like to be able to use this well

"could not load module" search throught the forums. there's quite a few threads talking about that.

"exception while ..." if it happens consistenly, you'll probably want to contact the module author, as that's not supposed to happen.

I just looked at the tutorials linked. I'd bet one could make a good automator for the OTS1 to OTS2 conversion.

And while I'm posting, why would you want to do this? Just so that one can easily switch between old themes and new ones with the new theme switcher protocol?

the conversion is going on so that older themes are put under the new "standard" so people can still use them. Many of the themes that are being converted are pre-ots so the new theme switcher app doesn't know what to do with them anyways.

All the links are dead. :( I have pulled the sticky. Once we find more tutorials out there we can make a new sticky. :(
