PC-environment: 800MHz AMD Duron, Graphics: Guillemot, Maxi Gamer Cougar (RIVA TNT2 64), Win2000 SP4 DirectX 8.1 RAM384MB

When running litestep, the CPU usage goes up to 45-50% just for the litestep process. When opening any other program CPU usage holds at 95-100% and everything is flickering. (Everything works correct before and after running litestep).
What's wrong?

sounds like you got a bad module loaded or something. try changing themes and see if the issue continues.

well, after installation with the "litestep installer omar", i did uninstall the same, tried the "ez2install" and no advancement. at least, there are different themes, that come with the packages. but I'll try changing a bit.

first installation package means litestep installer v3.0.2

ok, it was just another application that ran at startup. not starting it solved the problem

it was probably off looking for part of explorer. you should send an email to that company and let them know of your issue so they can fix it.

what application was it? There may be a work around.

it was a vDesk application (cool desk), not needed when using litestep, but absolutely forgot about it cause used to it.
