Tasks + Transparancy + XP = ? Thread last updated on 2004-01-12 14:39:14

Hi, It seems windows XP is not only using the "255,0,255" pink for transparancy, but is also putting shade on that color - making it too dark for tasks.dll to detect it as transparant areas.

Is there any fix for this or could it _be_ fixed?
One way i guess would be to let the user define which colours to be detected as trasparant.

If I didn't make myself understood, have a look here:

The image should be working now..

So theres nothing to do about this?
I've tried changing the default icons for folders but I can't figure out which icon to replace..

:/ i'll stop disucssing, as i dont have this problem (i dont use litestep anymore), but if you set tasks to use a transparent bg image, icons WILL have that pink halo in xp, or at least that happened the last time i tried it a couple of months ago.
