simplicity: change quicklaunch icons Thread last updated on 2004-02-23 20:05:48

so i recently dl and installed simplicity as my theme. But the quicklaunch icons (on the second bar) are not the things i want as quicklaunch (something like that) so i want to change the icons on my quicklaunch bar that sort of sounds confusing but i just need to know how to get to the area where you can change your quicklaunch bar for simplicity

ok thanks that helps. But now i have no clue how to change the quicklaunch area like for example
~SC2RClick "$GfxEditor$"~ thats for like my computer
but i want to change it to microsoft word how would i change it?

well.. $GfxEditor$ opens your graphics editor that you defined when you installed litestep. look in $personaldir$evars.rc to find those definitions.

\LiteStep\Personal\evars.rc
or
\LiteStep\profiles\\personal\evars.rc
or

in according to settings, choosed during installation

ok i changed everything to what i want but the icons havent changed to the matching program, how do i change the icon?

ok..i got the icon part. Now i want to do something else. I saw this one preview of simplicity and like right in the toolbar area where your program icons go, there is like a title so i was wondering how would i be able to put up a title. anyone?

Ok i have a problem with Quicklaunch icons too! I recently installed litestep the newest version it came with austerity, but i personally think austerity is horrible. But I love simplicity so i installed it, now what my problems is that the quick launch bar starts out as a text quick launch but i would like to switch it to graphical icons quick launch and i know you are suppose to use [left click + shift] and change it but it doesn't work for me even with a recycle. seems like a bug to me. HELP PLEASE!
