Last time I used litestep, the themes would always fight with full screen games so the theme's taskbar and stuff like that would be flashing up on top of any full screen games running.
Does that problem still exist? If so, is an easy remedy available?
Making the theme elements not on top is a rememdy.
the problem still exists, but there is a fix now... either put LSAutoHideModules in your step.rc (this may cause modules to hide other times than just with full screen apps, the detection isnt perfect yet), or call !hidemodules or !togglemodules before running the games, and then !showmodules/!togglemodules after. the only problem left is if you have lsxcommand showing the time or winamp song... it has a bug where it wont hide with that command. otherwise, you should be good to go(:
btw...!hidemodules/!togglemodules/!showmodules...are all personally scripting bangs and are not part of the core.
well they are in lsapi...
odd...they don't work here
Sometimes they don't automagically work for full-screen games. What I do is have them as keybaord shortcuts in my personal stuff, so I can force them on/off whenever needed, and quickly.
Does !hidemodules/!togglemodules/!showmodules apply on stuff like hotspot, too ?
Nah it dosn't work for hotspots
And DeViLbOi ther in the 24.7 versions
i'm not sure if it works for both hotspots modules, but i think it works for one of them... of course i forgot which. =)
doesn't work here in my build...tried it a couple times just to make sure
doesnt work with ckhotspots, and ive never gotten hotspots.dll to load
