I've had this problem since I started using Litestep, but I think I'll address it now because I'd really like to use it. Whenever I load the rainlendar dll litestep freezes. Period. Everytime. It does it on my friend's box, too. I'm using Xp Pro. The exe version works fine. It crashes in every theme, so I have nothing specific to show. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?

did you install gdiplus.dll? I don't know if not having it would cause it to crash or what, but I do know it's required.

winxp comes with gdiplus... what message does it give when it crashes?

It doesn't give any message, litestep just hangs and I have to forcibly terminate. It's similar to when you recycle RabidVWM with no windows open and it hangs.

well... as long as youre sure rainlender is causing it, a good thing to do in situations like this is to email the module author... most of them dont check these forums very regularly, and so they wont find out about these problems if you dont tell them.

i recall that not having the images in the right place could cause some uexpected results...
do u have the images for rainlendar installed correctly into the right folder?

like I said, this is an out-of-the-zip version of aquazone, and commenting out the lines for rainlendar stops the crash, I'll take a look at the image dirs in that theme and some others and see what I can come up with.

Weird, I stuck the files straight out of the rainlendar zip into my current theme and it loads. I just need to get it to display now.
