I've tried both systray2.dll and grdtray3.dll. Neither shows all the icons that I see using explorer as my shell. I'm using XP and is this feature just not available with the 0.24.6 build? Something about the way 2k and XP do their tray icons?
Have you ever installed DesktopX? There are similar threads btw.
sadly, one would have to hunt through all the muck to find them. methinks we could use a better organization scheme for the forum here..

I experienced the problem before, and I formatted my whole harddrive and then it worked.
