I have used Phoenix .5 since it came out with no issues.

I love opera. but I don't know what you mean by simple. it has tabbed browsing, skin support, helluva lot faster than IE, and it has mouse gestures. and lastly, it renders everything almost perfect. there are only a handful of sites I have problems with.

personally I've been using MyIE which uses the IE engine but makes it actually work... has all the features that were mentioned for opera and a very nice popup stopper... though it's not for anyone that wants to try and be as free of MS as they can as it still needs the security updates since it is still the IE engine

what do you want the browser to do? make you breakfast? ie looks fine... with a nice y'z toolbar or reshacked iexplore.exe the buttons look great and the rest is just a good visual style/3dcc setup.

check out Mozilla, its open source and cross platform. It adheres to the CSS standard better than MSIE as well.

Opera Opera Opera. It does everything but make my coffee (even with Java installed)!

it's not that nobody's fixing it, it's that it's only been raised afew times on the mozilla.org website. I submitted a bugzilla report, and I need to hurry up and leave a message in the forums.

Aside from this site, Firebird is the shiznit.

I love Opera. The mouse gestures are one of extremely lazy man's best friends. There is also a lot of cool skins for it and the built in pop-up blocker is one of the best I have ever seen.

i like mozilla because it allows you to disable certain javascript functions like popups, moving windows, hiding status bar and changing the status bar text. plus i have never, ever had it crash. its also got a buttload of themes to make it look however you want, and you can always make your own skin :)
