When litestep first loads (on win98) i check the resource usage in the system properies and it is always at either 98% or 99%. After the computer is on for about half an hour, even with no new programs running, the resources go down to about 90%. The longer litestep is running, the lower the recources get. Once they are below 30% the computer barely functions. This never happened prior to using litestep. I need a way to prevent litestep from burning out all my resources, otherwise i have to reboot to get them back.

Short question — what theme, and more importantly, what VWM are you using?

this sounds like a memory leak... try commenting out each module individually until it stops

i was using the the theme 21, which if i remember right uses ckVWM. I tried turning off everything but the desktop and popup modules and the leak stopped. I think it was the VWM like you said. But it's fixed now. Thanks for the help
