im running 98 and every 10 modules i download for themes is "file downloaded but zip was invalid"! and [noir] is one of them, which is too bad cause it's my favorite theme...
please reply anybody who knows whats up

That can be fixed by downloading the file again. I've run into the same problem a few times. Re-downloading the file always works for me though. I think it may happen when you have an unstable internet connection?(Although I work for an ISP and downloading directly off the backbone I've still run into this problem once in awhile) Maybe it has something to do with the server you are downloading from? I don't know. But re-downloading should fix it.

That most likely means that the theme is using the wrong name for the module and it does not exist. Loose-Screws sends an empty file for modules that don't exist, so NLM is getting a file, but it's not a valid zip file.

Check theme.rc, if it uses names like "shortcut2" (without a -2.0 or something) then these need to be change. It would be best to contact the theme's author, but I don't know how successful that would be.
