Can't get lsxcommand to work Thread last updated on 2003-12-02 06:49:43

I'm running Windows XP and Litestep 0.24.7-RC1. I'm using the default (austerity) theme. When I hit the Hotkey CTRL+SHIFT X, nothing happens. I think I'm supposed to get a little box in the upper left of my screen so I can type commands in and stuff. Here's what's in the lsxcommand section in themevars.rc:

;------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; customize lsxcommand hotkey, disable/enable lsxcommand
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------

;--> You can decide what hotkey you'd like to use to summon lsxcommand...

Hotkey CTRL+SHIFT X !FocusCommand

;--> ...and whether you even want to use lsxcommand at all (it's pretty handy
; for all kinds of things; executing LiteStep !bang commands, internet
; searches, and a great deal more.)

LSXCommandOn true

Any ideas as to why this isn't working? Thanks in advance for any and all help :)

I don't understand Dunno how that got changed in the first place !

Do you mean you don't know the difference between
setting value

and
*setting value

No, that's not what I meant. I was just saying I don't remember specifically deleting that particular character, but of course I did for whatever insane reason. Must've hit the delete key by accident or something while the cursor was there. Not sure. That's all :)
