recently i've gone back to the windows default, but DFileMan from the Dimension shell is quite nice. You'll prolly find a link to it above.

PowerDesk is pretty efficient as well

Humm, just try Directory Opus, wich is extremely configurable and as mush powerfull as Total Commander (ftp support too)

there's also MiniExplorer, a rather minimalistic but in-development (read: you can suggest things to the author) explorerer thingy

The developer of Total Commander is also open to suggestions. He's in the official forum daily.

If MiniExplorer has dual panel like 2xplorer I think I start using it.
Anyway it's a great file manager.

Hi,
the suggestions I've seen all look OK. Anyone out there tried Frigate or TurboNavigator??? both
seem perfectly respectable & TNav is freeware...
