First, i'm a complete newbie when it comes to LS.
I've only used it for a couple of weeks, on and off.
I have the problem with the taskbar staying on top when i run fullscreen games.
I read a couple of threads about it, which said that you coulf make a hotkey which hides/shows all modules, but i cant figure out where to place the .rc files, nor how i edit them correctly.

The theme i'm using, loads these modules :
-------------------------------------------------------
LoadModule $ModulesDir$grdTransparent.dll
LoadModule $ModulesDir$taskbar3.dll
LoadModule $LitestepDir$systray2.dll
LoadModule $ModulesDir$jdesk.dll
LoadModule $LiteStepDir$popup2.dll
LoadModule $LiteStepDir$hotkey.dll
LoadModule $LitestepDir$shortcut2.dll

LoadModule $ModulesDir$label.dll
LoadModule $ModulesDir$autorun.dll
LoadModule $ModulesDir$Rainmeter.dll
LoadModule $ModulesDir$mzscript.dll
-------------------------------------------------------

So if someone could post exactly what code to use, and how to edit the files correctly, it would make me happy.

I am a newbie to :) I have only hade LS in less then a week. But I think that I have what you are looking for :)

In my LiteStep\Personal\Hotkey.rc file I have a line that goes like this.

*hotkey win b !toggleall

I hope that it should work for you to :D

So when you press the windows button + b everything should be hidden.

I hope it works for you to....

actually... a better solution would probably be to use !togglemodules instead of !toggleall

!toggleall is theme specific, while !togglemodules will work with any theme

do these hotkeys also help for hiding the main winamp menu?

if you're taking about the litestep interface for winamp, then yes. if you actually mean winamp itself, then no.

why is it that explorer.exe can be top-most, but still never shows up in games - but litestep (modules) always gives trouble. is this some kind of fundamental error in the design of litestep, or is it workarounds in explorer.exe?

If you load your desktop module first you shouldn't have too many problems. If even that fails try !HideModules.

or put LSAutoHideModules in your step.rc
