tasks module with vertical layout Thread last updated on 2003-11-25 16:57:35

Sorry to start a new thread with such a petty issue, but when one can't find, one asks.

Isn't there any taskbar module wich will show new tasks up or down instead of left or right? Hmm.. i believe i'm being specific enough. You know.. tile the tasks one on top of another.

Erm.. well, that's it. Replies appreciated.

(browsing around here is such a pain with mozilla.. i know, it's beem discussed in another thread, it ain't server side. Just letting go my frustration.)

(oh, and the timeout? Why the timeout? When i login, i want to be logged in for eternity. The day is still to come when i'll finish posting smt without having to write it all again because when i hit 'reply' or whatever it takes me to the login page! ARRGHHH!)

search the forums for 'vertical tasks' and find this:

What's wrong with me? I did search. Not 'vertical tasks' but 'vertical taskbar'. No relevant results. And my brain just ignored the row of numbers on the bottom of the page indicating more search results. I hit myself in the the head and feel miserable. Thank you for so gently showing me how stupid can one be. I deserve not to live. I am not. Please, someone erase this thread. It must be the fever. I think i'm going to the corner and just cry a little.

I heard that it's a condition of the webspace provider that lsnet use, 10 minutes idle and you're logged out, so if you've got a spare webserver for them to use...

and you can always login, then hit the back button a few times to get to what you typed...

yes, you can. It's not too bad, just a little bit annoying

the function you want is already in taskbar.dll

Well, i was quite ill at the time, so i ask you to forgive my amateurish mistakes (including, but not limited to, a bad research).

As to the login issue, yes, it's just a little bit annoying. Annoying things tend to become incarnations of evil when you're even slightly upset..

As for it being in taskbar.dll.. well, taskbar.dll may even take you out on a date, but if it's not documented, you'll never know.

Well, appreciated for the replies.

farewell and godspeed.

(yay! just used the back button trick! thanks! :)
