i just downloaded litestep and i found out some icons on my desktop cant be taken off or deleted.. can someone tell me how i can make my desktop be like clear of icons

shift+left click -> other options -> disable desktop icons

this is in the readme that came with the theme

yes, in the readme which popped up the first time you loaded the theme ..
