dynamp 0.43, lsslider-1.71 and WinAmp 5 RC 8 Thread last updated on 2003-11-22 20:19:02

I thought I would report good news that WinAmp 5 RC 8 seems to work perfectly with the current version of dynamp (v0.43). Unfortunately lsslider doesn't work properly with it but hopefully it won't be too long before this is fixed.

What has winamp5 that winamp2 has not (except the freeform) ?
I guess using dynamp and lsslider is intend to make your own winamp skin; not ?

wa5 also works great with dynamp-0.50 - and sofar haven't noticed any problems with lsslider-1.71 .....

I'm using lsslider 1.71 also. I've found that when I slide the handle up and let go it snaps back to the previous volume. Maybe it's something wrong with my setup.

Glad to hear winamp5 works with dynamp. :)

Do you have to identify wa5 as "DynAmpPlayer winamp2", or "DynAmpPlayer winamp3"? ;)

thanks for the info. cees, saves me from having to install wa5. :P

(i'll switch over when wa5 is final i guess.)
