First off, sorry about this because I'm sure many of you have had to deal with idiots like me and this may have even been asked about before. I had a quick browse but I'm pretty hopeless.

Anyway I've been on and off LiteStep for a few years now, and just today I've begun using it again - hopefully for some time. I only have one problem and that is, running QuakeWorld (FuhQuake if there's anyway QW players here), I get parts of the task bar, systray and GeekAmp flashing transparently in the game. Samurize also does this but since thats unrelated to LiteStep I wasn't going to mention it, but if someone knows how to fix that, I would be forever grateful :)

So, does anyone know how to fix this? And once again I'm sorry as I'm sure this has most-likely been asked about before.

Peace.

...using the newest installer?

Yep. It only happens on some themes. I managed to fix the Samurize anyway.

The items are being set to ontop and the game is fighting for OnTop status. You want to enable the LSAutoHideModules or whatever it is named stuff...that should fix it up.

Or bind !HideModules/!ShowModules or !ToggleModules to hotkey(s) and hide all modules when you play a game.

taskbar3.306 (I don't know about the 7) alwaysontop use to be really alwaysontop and bring other modules to flyckering into games...

If you don't use taskbar3 alwaysontop, other modules can be alwaysontop without annoyance if you load them right after rainmeter (alwaysontop)
