Probs with opening Iexplorer Thread last updated on 2003-11-14 21:24:10

One of my friends have probs opening Iexplorer ind Excalibur II

I won't open it with the browser shortcut in the theme, He's also tried to change the $Browser$ shortcut thing to the real path, but still it won't open it

Anyone who have a solution?

hmmm... double check how the shortcut is written. there may be a mistype somewhere.

sorry, I dunno. I had the same problem with a shortcut not bringing up opera, which is my default web client (and yes, is set as such in my evars). I never did get that fixed, I just used a different theme.

Make sure there's quotes around the path?
See if !alert "$Browser$" gives you what you expect.

make sure there's only *one* set of quotes around the path.
might need to edit his evars.rc by hand.

i noticed a similair problem - when pasting in a full path with quotes into the evar config app, it gets written with extra quotes o_O
