I don't have a lot of technical experience with Litestep but I did install an older theme that I liked ("turtle soup II" using build 0.24.6)and now I'm interested in adding additional themes. Is there some way to switch back and forth in themes w/o rewriting the step.rc or my registry files?

ls-ots.cjb.net
im not sure if turtle soup 2 is ots compatible (doubtful if its old) but you could convert it.. then you grab other ots themes, install them, and then use lsts.exe to swap between themes.

TurtleSoup 2 was not OTS compliant and the author refused to allow it to be re-released as such. However, you can still convert it for yourself; or just use LSTS to switch between it an OTS compliant themes.

Personally I use the Litestep Control Panel to switch between themes. It comes with the newer indie builds and can be launched with the bang command !lscp.
