Just installed litestep, and I am using the them austerity. I have desktop icons enabled, but the icons I previously had - (A shortcut to my computer, my documents, etc) have all vanished. Any reason why this has happened? Also, the icons that I can put on the desktop are completely unmovable. Can I change this too?

1 - i dont think icondesk shows icons like my computer and my documents, because they arent actually files, just things that explorer puts on the desktop by itself... there might be a way to create shortcuts to them using the clsids, or possibly icondesk can do this by itself... im not sure, i dont use it(:

Austerity uses $Desktop$ instead of .desktop

open up desktop_icons.rc in configdir and scroll down. there's even a long comment about it ;)
