Anybody else have a problem with resource leaking? Thread last updated on 2003-11-09 01:28:09

I installed litestep, and let it run for a while, but eventually the CPU meter and RAM meter (I was using WiseDragon) climbed up to full and froze my computer. I ctrl-alt-deleted and Litestep was using 99% of my CPU and 500Mb of RAM. Is there something I did wrong? How can I fix it? because I love the concept of shelling Windows.

what installer/theme/os where you using? it has some leaks here and there, but not really big ones.

I was using the "LiteStep Installer (omar) (8)" from the downloads page with Windows XP

please don't post direct links, this is better:

:)

i doubt your post will have much impact sryo, but due to direct links beyondconvention.net is getting too many downloads, i might just move the file from it's current location to break the direct download links. :P

Do you use WindowBlinds?

Well, it functions better than the previous version, most of that could be due to the fact that I stopped using Rainlender (or whatever it's called) because that kept on freezing up. I've got it stable enough to use, but I'm having video driver problems, and power supply problems so I'm temporarily switching back to explorer until I get that working. Thanks for the link.
