How 2? Thread last updated on 2003-02-17 19:03:43

I’ve been using LS for about 2 years now, the theme I have been using is Digital Frost because of its simplicity, I’m now looking for a new theme, but I don’t know how to change them, the theme I am using now is one where u manually change the shell in the system.ini, it is probably simple to figure this out, but as of now I am lost, so if anyone can guide me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Thanks…

hmmm it seems that you are using an OLD version of litestep.

1) download the OTS (open theme standard) installer from here:

http://ls-ots.cjb.net/

2) while you are at that site, read the documentation to find out what OTS is.

3) go to http://indiestep.sourceforge.net/ and grab the latest "stable" build. NOTE: you will only be able to replace your current build of litestep if you are NOT using it, so kill litestep with the task manager, replace the files, then restart litestep.

4) browse the ls.net themes section for a sexy OTS theme.

Not related to your question, but I think it's generally a good idea to give some indication on what you need help with in the title of the thread. That way you might get more helpful replies, and not just unhelpful replies like the one I'm writing ;P

np, just make sure all the themes you download are marked as OTS (and if not, prepare to wade through some code :| )
