Jkey bug? Hotkey WIN O. Thread last updated on 2003-11-10 15:21:35

I like to have WIN O as a hotkey for my e-mail. I've just upgraded LS with Omars 3.0.1 installer and am running the default austerity theme. The problem is that WIN O appears to already be associated with my file manager, but I can't find where. It doesn't appear to defined in my personal files or in the theme. I can only assume that it has been defined in the module. Does anyone know anything about this?

do you have a shotcut for it in the start menu? it could be associated there.

In the windows start menu? Or for the shortcuts under Programs in the litestep popup? I certainly didn't create one, and it's never existed before. I don't think that "Shortcut keys" for window shortcuts work when explorer is not the shell. Perhaps you mean elsewhere that I'm not familar with?

Are you using austerity but not experiancing this problem, syro?

Sorry for the repeated posts. For some reason when I click submit it's sending me to the login page. I thought my session had timed out and didn't realise by posts were successful.

I found the problem. This hotkey was defined in DOpus. With LS 0.24.6 my hotkey setting for WIN O must have overided hotkeys in DOpus because WIN O never opened DOpus until I changed to LS 0.24.7.

Maybe it is asosiated in anuther program. I hav 2 programs, LiteStep and WinPowerPro:

In LiteStep I hav:
WIN+Z = Popup Menu
WIN+X = Command Line

In WinPowerPro I hav:
WIN+C = MS-DOS Prompt
WIN+S = Screen Saver
WIN+P = PowerPro Menu

And in DOpus, wat dus that do?
