does anyone still have their original lscount number?

sadly i lost mine in a HD crash( the HD was 5yrs old i shouldn't have pushed it so hard )

maybe we should restart the count.

yes lscount was in effort to count LS users and put a user number in the registry.

many old schoolers will remember

I've probably lost it, but I'll check some of my old floppies to see if there's any old LS-stuff on'em. I'd like to see it sort of rewritten or just reset, maybe, but I guess users #1-100 wouldn't like to see their old exclusive numbers erased ;)

I'm not even sure if the module still works. or that matter what site it used to give out numbers.

iirc, it used ls.net and it stored the number in a very strangely named text file in windows/system.

But hey, we've got ls.net user id numbers now ;)
