it has been done before and prizes were given...however...I do not have the funds at this time to give anything away. if I can come up with something, is anyone interested besides these 3?

i'm not sure that getting some recognition isn't in itself a prize (granted, money is better). maybe a chance to inclue your theme with the default LS installer could be a prize? just a thought. i know i'd probablt submit something just to see how it turned out.
default theme contest huh? that brings back memories.....
just because the veterans don't want to do it (again) doesn't mean some newcomers wouldn't want to try it.
oh yea, and prizes wouldn't even be necessary i don't think. i think just some community recognition (maybe a shellfront newspost, lsthemes post, etc.) would be good enough... for me at least.

well...I can't put it as part of the installer because I have no control over any of that stuff. We shall see what I can do though.

I don't think I have the energy, but if the youngsters are up to it; it will be interesting so see the results.
i'm totally up for it. lately i've gained a lot more understanding about litestep from making my own theme. i'm pumped.

I'd love to set up a minimal theme, in fact, I LOVE minimals, heh, only problem i've had so far is the transition of LS from Win98 to WinXP. can't figure that thing out!... oi
