alright ladies and gents,
i have given up on lite step, you have to go thru too many changes to get what you want to work.I know alot of people that have tried litestep as well and agrees that the interface can be somewhat puzzling.so here is a simple solution for those(beginners w/ shells)like me!!Its called Aston, the skins are plentiful, and the set up is super easy!!if you dont have a portion of a specific skin, the wizard automatically downloads what ever protions you are missing from the database!!h**p://www.astonshell.com ,this is not a disrespect towards the litestep organization;Just a solution for us "unadvanced pc interface users"rookie ladies/gents!!maybe this post will catch the eye of one of you shell builders for litestep and start making a more easier to use shell for us beginners......

Some people never wants to try something more difficult to configure, then they're imprisoned to that mentioned condition of "unadvanced pc interface user rookie"

The interface...you mean the ctrl-alt-F1 menu? All the rest is what you make of it.

Aston...great, but $$$. Sorry, but if I am to break my EULA with a shell, I'm not paying for that priveledge. Of course I'm also pirating if I use VNC to access a windows box according to M$, so maybe that can be taken with a grain of salt...
Edit: yeah, but I still thinks it's crazy :)

cerbie, that's only true with winxp (about the vnc thing). they did that because remote desktop connection is built in.
