Yeah i just wanted to know which format - *.lsz or *.zip is to be preferred while uploading themes to ls.net.
i have uploaded using *.lsz and some users say that the file gets corrupted.
lsz is better cuz double clicking directly installs the theme.
one suggestion was to put the lsz inside a zip, but that may confuse newbiews??
any suggestions...

i say keep it zip. it's simple enough for "advanced users" to rename it to lsz

i disagree... the point is to make it easy for new users, so id say upload them as .lsz... i dont see how that would have anything to do with files getting corrupted, unless they try to open the file before it is done downloading

All files in the upload processes will be renamed to .zip no matter what you upload them as. We have changed the upload script to allow for .lsz and .lst but we still create our own file names.

up until last week you could only upload a zip file. I don't think they really get "corrupted" but just zipped into a "non-standard" compressed file.
