Does anyone know when the next version of this module is coming out?

Also, does anyone know a good module that checks email on an imap server?

I can anwser the first question: no, noone doesn't know, since I don't know, but that said, I did mess with the module lately, but it seems weather.com doesn't like to get their html read by something else than a browser without you paying for it. I need to find workarounds anyways.
