Seems like a couple years ago was some kind of golden age for themeing. Now, alot of the themes I'm see are dog ugly and unusable. And very few have matching WB, Visial Stules or ShellWM themes to go with them.
What happened?

seriously, if you want good looking themes, try anything by teschio, tronn, surazal, or eriol. that's just off the top of my head, there are lots of other good themers out there.
i do share your sentiment to a certain extent though, i dunno, i haven't done anything interesting in ages myself ('course i'm busy but still), things are starting to blend together. although i don't care about no wb/shellwm/msstyles, i don't like skinning windows. :P
Hehe, i remeber that before litestep.net went down for a long time, they had alot of great themes :p
yeah, some of them are availible on devaintart (custo was down too, deskmod is down now)
dr worm also has a good theme out (glaze, as well as another under development which is looking good). milk also has quite a few really attractive, and functional themes.

Hmmm... yes, the other one in development. That's right :/ I was supposed to release it a few weeks but sick of writing the doc for it. I really should sit down and finish it off one weekend with extra skins and all.

ilmcuts- Great link! Teschio's a veteran who's provided tremendous inspiration to many a new themer (me & greguti included).
Why aren't themers making (at the very least) matching ShellWM themes? It kind of sucks having a nice LiteSTEP theme and regular, ugly Windows Classic or Luna borders.
