I think its a fairly well know flaw with grdtray3 that it crashes litestep on the 3rd recycle. What I wanted to know is: I want to replace it with a more stable module but, not being a themer I should like to do it with the least amount of editing as possible. I guess what I want to know is, is there a more stable alternative that uses the exact same (or very similar) bangs and commands?

other systray modules are systray2 and vtray. both are stable, but i don't know grdtray's syntax so i can't say anything about that.

I don't get how some themers still use grdtray3. Support for it was dropped in 2001. Everybody needs to use systray2 or vtray instead.

eventhough i agree with ilmcuts for the same reason, have to state i never experienced such 3rd !recycle crash when using grdtray3.dll

Ah well, its not really a huge problem, more a minor inconveniance. I'll look into replacing the whole module at some point. Probably when I'm a lote more experienced! Thanks for the help
