Hotkey problem :: ctrl + w Thread last updated on 2003-09-21 10:54:55

First of all, thank you for this wonderful program. Its uses far outweigh the suffering of this problem I'm having =)

Now, is there any way to disable the ctrl + w hotkey from minimizing all windows? The reason is, I'm an avid gamer. I've been playing online first person shooters and the like for 7 years. Consequently, as many know, it's hard for me to change my keyboard setup, which I've become fluent with. It just throws me off very badly. With Litestep, if I press and hold CTRL (my crouch button) and press W (my walk forward button) the game minimizes, as do all other windows.

Is there a way to disable this? I'm sorry if this answer is found elsewhere, I checked some forum posts and read the FAQ and the manual, and did not find my answer within those areas. Any help is greatly appreciated, I realize that you're not here to answer my pointless questions =)

Best regards,
-- Brad

Oh gosh, I almost forgot to add my system specs.

AMD AthlonXP 2900+
1gb DDR Ram
GeForce Ti4200 128mb AGP8x
WindowsXP SP1

I can't think of anything else you'd need, I downloaded LiteStep yesterday on this computer, so it's the most recent build. And the bug exists with multiple themes, I haven't found one yet that it doesn't do it on.

all hotkey definitions will be in the file $litestepdir$\personal\hotkey.rc... just put a semicolon in front of the line *hotkey CTRL W !MinimizeWindows
