Has anyone here been able to figure out how to disable this icon(in Litestep of course).

why would you want to?

Because it's being activated by a USB wireless access point. Seeing as the theme I'm using has limited taskbar real estate and I see no need, in the near future, to remove said piece of hardware I simply wanted t make room. Now that I've answered your ? monkey, care to answer mine?

I am pretty sure all task and systray modules premit the hiding of icons. Check the docs for your respective module.

double click on it, and on the bottom of the safely remove, is a checkbox if you want the icon to appear in the systray
