I've used LSSlider so far and it's nice, though doesn't work quite right while transparent, but that's beside the point.
However, another post contained this:
"grdTray3 is a very bad module. There were stable and unstable builds all over the place. You should look into replacing it. Same goes for LSSlider. Now both of those modules will cause the other issues you are reporting."
So LSSlider will introduce problems and may impede the usage of a theme using it. Nasty. If this doesn't occur on my computer, it will on somewhere else, and I should consider rejecting it. So, I would like to hear suggestions on alternatives to the modules functionality (at least when I built by theme, such didn't exist).
Also, any insights on why it does what it does are accepted. It never hurts to know.
