I'm working on my own theme, finally, and am on Win98, with the latest litestep build.
Anyway, I've got notepad up with the step.rc, and I'm making frequent changes and such, trying to line up shortcuts and the like, and after 6-9 or so recycles, I loose my popup. I've tried recyling again, no luck. The only thing that fixes it is to get to LSTS in the file manager, since hotkey and everything else is still running, and switch themes back and forth. Not too big of a deal, just curious if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

I think I've heard of this happening, but I can't remember for sure. What popup module are you using?

Just the base one that comes with Litestep and the last build, popup2.dll

Last time I've seen this happening was on Win9x using 0.24.6... What do you mean with "latest litestep build"? 0.24.7 or Indie LS?

Got it here, in the downloads recently, the latest indie LS build, 2-9-03. Noticed there was a new one on shellfront, but haven't tried it yet. May just download newest popup2 version from there and see if that helps.

try upgrading to 0.24.7b4, see if that fixes the problem.
