Is there a hotkey I can set so that lifestep swaps the current top window? I'm currently using DarkSpace and I like to have my windows maximized, but it's annoying to have to minimize or restore a window every time I want to see something another. Thanks a bunch!

have youtried using alt+tab?
you should try to use virtual desktops too

try wndman.dll and assign hotkeys to do the job
