Hotkey vs Systray2 Thread last updated on 2003-09-17 16:41:42

I got frustrated long ago with how LS tended to appear over games. I know now that there are several fixes for that, and I'm just starting to toy around with hiding and showing things. I didn't expect to fail my first try though. Using Hotkey, I thought I could trigger !SystrayToggle, lie this:

*Hotkey CRTL+ALT G !SystrayHide

...but I've had no success. I mean, I run other bang commands for other modules from my hotkeys, so why would this be different?
Incidentally, theme-switching to Saphardana(also uses Systray2.dll) and using its LSXCommand will run the command flawlessly.

Am I missing some connection/difference between Hotkey and Systray?

Just in case, that should be CTRL, not CRTL

Just a suggestion, you may want to try !ModulesHide and !ModulesShow if you want everything to disappear before you start a game.

CRTL - D'oh!

Okay, without the typo, life is good.

ilmcuts - Alright. I'll go look those up.

Sorry for the triple post, but where are the !ModulesHide and !ModulesShow commands - they don't work on my system, and I can't find anything about them by searching LiteStep sites.

Ouch! And I wasn't even tired when I wrote that, so I don't really have an excuse. It's !ShowModules and !HideModules. Also !ToggleModules if you have 0.24.7 beta 4.
