I've got grdtransparent, and it works nice, but i've only used it for popups, but i've got a question, can it make transparent a window, example file manager or explorer??so i can see whats under that window???

i prefer apptrans.dll over wndman.dll, simply because apptrans lets you bind a single hotkey to a single command to toggle transparency.
very handy :)

tnl: wow, it's seems you manage mzvars in a better way than I.
Where did you heard about
*script exec !varset wndalf "{wnd%{wndhdl}a}"
*script exec !varset wndalf "%%{wndalf}"

I have to see what it gives. thanks for the trick
